RVDesk: estimates, signatures and QuickBooks for mobile RV technicians

Type the job the way you'd say it to another tech. A priced estimate in about fifteen seconds, from your own history.

About two hours a day back in peak season, by Paul's count.

An RVDesk estimate: the customer and rig, then line items for a service call, a diagnostic inspection, miscellaneous shop supplies and a replacement part.

Who it’s for

  • Mobile RV repair technicians. The plan covers two seats.
  • If the prices live in your head and the estimates wait until after the work, this was built for that.

The morning screen

New leads come in with the rig and the problem, and a drafted estimate is ready to open. Invoices, scheduling, parts and customer visits sit on the same screen.

The RVDesk dashboard a tech opens every morning: new leads with the rig, the problem, and an AI-drafted estimate ready to open, plus intake links, invoices, scheduling, parts and customer visits.

An estimate from your own history

Type the job the way you'd describe it to another tech: "roof A/C not cooling, 15k Coleman, Class A." About fifteen seconds later there's a priced estimate on screen, seeded from your own QuickBooks history.

When there isn't enough history behind a job type, it says so instead of guessing.

The RVDesk estimates list: each estimate with its customer, rig, total, status and job status, with filters for draft, sent, signed, invoiced and expired, and a search by customer.

Signed on the rig, filed in QuickBooks

The customer signs it on the rig. The signed PDF goes into QuickBooks by itself. Payment posts against it.

Texts and scheduling

Reminders and updates go out by text and email, with the opt-out rules handled.

Offers the customer three times from the nearest technician, a time you already agreed on, or the next one open. The customer picks one or asks for new options.

"Nearest" means closest to the shop, home or last job, and the dispatcher picks which way to send.

The RVDesk schedule in week view: the week of Nov 5 to Nov 11 with each day's jobs placed by time.

On a phone

An RVDesk estimate on a phone: the customer's call, text and email buttons, then the line items, subtotal, cushion and sales tax.
The RVDesk schedule on a phone: Friday's confirmed jobs in a list, each with its time and price.
